1. Why do so many viruses originate in Africa?
2. When did these viruses originate in geologic times, in other words, how many million years ago?
3. How fast do viruses mutate and do all viruses mutate at the same rate?

Pediatric Grand Rounds is presented for three purposes, to:
·   Recognize the important interdependence of research and patient care
·   Describe evolving pathogenetic concepts and therapies for pediatric diseases
·   Provide relevant in-depth review of important pediatric topics
 
The University of Minnesota is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACGME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
