Hockey stick?

Hi,

Soundcloud lost $29 million in 2013 on revenues of $14 million (40% growth from 2012). They were valued at $700 million in their last financing raised in January 2014.

Hmmmm....

VC funding was down this quarter. I'm looking forward to this one quarter where people won't ask me if we're in a bubble. Our Q3 2014 data is below.

Billion dollar lifestyle business

Mojang was the largest acquisition of a bootstrapped tech company (a smooth $2.5 billion). Mojang founder Notch's post-acquisition exit letter is worth a read because it's so tremendously honest.

Have a great rest of the week.

Best,
Anand
