Join fellow alums and the Gotham Gastronomes, an informal eating club for alumni of Ivy-plus universities, as we gather for a Sunday Supper at Pera Mediterranean Brasserie, which serves delectable Turkish cuisine. Reserve your seat(s).

Foodtober: New York, It’s Your Oyster: A Sustainable Seafood Rawbar + Conversation /Oct 20Do You Know Where Your Seafood Comes From? 10/20
Come to our signature sustainability event and learn from our panel of experts while you enjoy a two-hour raw bar of local, sustainably-harvested seafood. Representatives from Riverkeeper, Village Fishmonger, the New York Harbor Foundation, Luke’s Lobster, and the New York Aquarium will be on hand to answer your questions. The raw bar and an open bar are included in the ticket price.
 
Come support YAANY at our annual benefit soirée at the home of Kara Unterberg YC '87 on the Upper West Side. Meet our Foodtober beneficiaries, the Yale Sustainable Food Project and City Growers and learn about the great things they and YAANY do all year round. YAANY will hold a private after-hours tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art with curators from the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts. The museum's collection of gold and silver work is one of the finest in existence with its wide range of British and French masterpieces, as well as outstanding pieces from Southern European countries. Join us for a lively introduction to these remarkable works of art.

Foodtober: League of Kitchens Greek Cooking Workshop (Vegetarian), 10/26League of Kitchens Greek Cooking Workshop (Vegetarian), 10/26
This League of Kitchens cooking workshop will be taught by Despina, whose recipes hail from her coastal hometown of Chalkis, Greece. Like our previous League of Kitchens class, this workshop includes a take-home kit of specialty ingredients, shopping guide, full dinner, a booklet of recipes, and more. There are only two seats left for this workshop. Reserve them today.
