Employee of the Month
Our Cameron spent Tuesday, as Ben calls it, ''Playing with Boats''. We are proud to say Cameron has now recieved his boat licence. From now on you may not see him scooting around the marina, rather, checking on things from the dory.

From the team
Many people might envy our job and you'd be right too. We have a fantastic team with a fearless leader. We have an picturesque work place, we enjoy the variety or our job and we have met some amazing people. So pop into the office for a visit.

The best medicine
A very nervous first time crew member says to the skipper, "Do yachts like this sink very often?''
"Not too often,'' replied the skipper. '' Usually it's on;y the once.''

In celebration of Cameron's new boat licence, this months competition is to name the shipyard dory! Send through your suggestions and you could win a bottle of wine.

Know your Knots - Anchor Hitch
1. Make two turns around the shackle, leaving turns open.
2. Pass free end behind the standing line and feed the free end through the first turns and pull tight. 
3. Now tie a half hitch around the standing line and pull tight.
4. Seize the free end or tie the knot with a long tag end and tie a backup knot such as one half of a Double Fisherman’s (see Backup Knot) with the tag end around the standing part.
