PayPal Made Changes Today - Other Payment Processors Will Be Affected
They didn't bother to announce this one but this change is bringing PayPal payments of possibly all types to a halt. If you use PayPal, Authorize.net or Linkpoint, this pertains to your cart as well though the other providers haven't made their changes yet.
It's due to a vulnerability in the SSL proctocol just released and every cart needs this update if you are using any of the three payment processors that are packaged with the default Zen Cart package. Other payment processors will need this changed as well. Technically hosting companies should prevent that SSL version from being used but many may not. I'm not doing it yet because it may affect too many customers at once.
For the moment only PayPal has made the changes from their end. If you use any PayPal payment option option, this needs fixing. It is not known at this time if every paypal option needs this change but I have edited files for all types.
For your security, every Zen Cart owner needs to do this to have the safest files on your website, no matter what payment method you are using now!
