Invitation & Registration
The Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation  is offering two guided tours of the Waterbury Dam with Dam Safety Engineer Steve Bushman, P.E.

The Friends of Waterbury Reservoir is assisting with promotion and registration for these tours.

Date:     Monday, October 13, 2014 (Columbus Day)
Times:  9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.

Driving Directions:

From the junction of VT Route 100 and U.S. Route 2 in Waterbury: Go 1.5 miles west on U.S. Route 2, then turn right and go 3 miles north on Little River Rd toward Little River State Park. The dam's parking area is located near the gated entrance to the top of the dam.

Mama Mallard quickly ushers her two babies away from the nosey photographer with the giant black labrador retriever on July 5th. This is the marshy area between the Cotton Brook canoe access and the Little River.
