Sweet Dream In A Bag

Providing New Bedding, Caring
and Love to Children in Transition

As a precious young girl looked at her Sweet Dream Bag she said, "Now I have something to put on my mattress!"
Please know how thankful we are that Sweet Dream is able to provide this beautiful, new bedding for these kids, so they have a wonderful place to snuggle up and have many sweet dreams each night---A BIG THANK YOU to each person that makes this possible!!!!!

Precious Time
with the Children

The director, of any agency that we visit to bless their children with Sweet Dream Bedding, brought to our attention just how valuable and precious the time our volunteers give to children and parents as they read the "Your Bed the Treasure Chest -- YOU are the Treasure" booklet. She observed that it is so wonderful for the parents to see just what it means to the children to sit and read to them or listen to them read. Many of these parents have been in family transition problems, while trying to rebuild a normal family life they have often forgotten just how important it is to spend time listening and giving their children their undivided attention!!! It is wonderful that our volunteers role model to parents a way to give the children the attention they desire so much -- this helps remind each parent that they just need to take the time with their child!!

Purchasing Bedding

During the Fall months (right now) We purchase a large amount of our bedding for Sweet Dream. As stores are closing out their inventory getting ready for the holidays. 100% of your donations are tax deductable are used for bedding for the children. We are an unusual Non-Profit -- as every penny is used for the children's bedding!!!!! We always try to make the donated go as far as possible -- we purchase bedding at lowest possible price-- funding is needed to take advantage of these sales -- you can donated on our website thru PayPal (as one time gift or a reaccuring gift), donate thru United Way specifing your donation is for Sweet Dream In A Bag #16561, sending a gift by check to Sweet Dream In A Bag, 9249 S. Getting the Word Out

We have had the opportunity to speak to two Kiwanis groups in Pueblo, they will be partnering with us to have a Treasure Time on Oct. 16th at the Rio Sacramento Apartments!
We will be speaking to Kiwanis Clubs in Greeley and Ft. Collins and several church group in the coming weeks. It is our desire for people to hear about how they can make a difference in a child's life--provide them with their very own beautiful, comfy bedding! If you know of a group, church, scout troop, business or organization, such as Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Optimist Clubs or other service minded organizations--just call Susie 303-507-2098.

Beanie Babies

We are excited as people are calling us with beanie babies-please continue to get the word out that we are a great Charity that will find a loving home for every Beanie Babie!!! We can give tax receipts for the donations.

These are just two of the more than 3100 precious children that have been blessed with their very own new Sweet Dream Bags!!!
