Monthly Trail Meeting

Date:   Friday, Oct. 10th
Time:  11:45 am - 1:00 pm
Place:  205 Riverside Dr. (So. Portal Bldg) 

The purpose of our meeting is hold an open forum to discuss ways to further our mission of promoting great trails in Klamath County.  Please join us for all or part of our upcoming meeting. 
Maintenance Day

Date:   Saturday, Oct. 11th
Time:   7:45 am - 12:00 pm
Place:  Gingerbread House (Moore Park) 

 
IMBA trail building events:

Don't forget the IMBA trail events coming up at the Running Y Resort's lodge conference room on the third floor. Register here. 

Better Living Through Trails:
Date: Friday, Oct. 24th
Time: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 pm

Trail Building School: 
Date: Saturday, Oct. 25th
Time: 9 a.m. - 4 pm
 
Notice something new
in Moore Park?


The Klamath Trails Alliance and the City of Klamath Falls are putting in new trail markers.

The first three were installed last week. Keep an eye out for more as they go in. 
 

Trail News & Information

 

Klamath Falls bicycle corrals:

Phase one of the bicycle corral project is set to be completed at 5 p.m. Friday.  During the day the City of Klamath Falls and Ford Foundation volunteers will be installing the bicycle racks in front of the future Sky Lakes Wellness Clinic and Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop on 11th Ave.  Any friends of the KTA are invited to come celebrate this great day for bicycles with support from Klamath Basin Brewing, Bombshell Baking, Production Metal Forming and other various community support including the Klamath Trails Alliance as the main non-profit partner.
 


Phase two is currently being planed and locations are being chosen for up to 3 more corrals!

The Linkville Lopers running and walking club and Asana Yoga and Sole are teaming up to host the Trails in Motion film festival! The showing will be held at the Ross Ragland Cultural Center and will feature an amazing set of short films and documentaries. We'll have a few guest speakers, beer from Base Camp Brewing Copmany, pizza from Rodeos Pizza & Saladeria and a ton of great raffle prizes. Will have ticket purchase info up shortly.
Come join in at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday!

Visit KTA's website or our Facebook page for more information on projects and events. Consider joining or renewing your membershship today!  Individual memberships start at only $20 per year.  These funds support trail maintenance, promotion, new trail development and the resources needed to keep us up and running as a non-profit organization!  Email info@klamathtrails.org to join the mailing list for updates.
