Burn Rate Alert. Microsoft M&A. 50 Largest New York Tech Financings.

Dinero and Disruption

Hi,

If you're a SaaS entrepreneur, you should read Christoph Janz's post on Five ways to build a $100 million business in our "7 things to read this week" section at the bottom of this newsletter. It's very good.

Dear Management Consultants

Interesting HBR article by Clayton Christensen about disrupting management consulting. If you're a current or former management consultant from McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, we're going to be hosting a lunch/dinner (TBD) in NYC to discuss the 'disruptability' of management consulting. If you're interested, please ping me.

Our pricing is going up (again)

You can see our new pricing here which will go into effect later this month.

While we typically have raised prices every 10-12 months, our last price increase was in April 2014 so this is the quickest price hike to-date (~6 months). With some of the crazy things we have in the product dev pipeline, we anticipate this will continue.

For current clients, you remain grandfathered in to your old rates so don't worry.  Those of you still on our $2400/year plan -- very well played.

Have a great week ahead.
