Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina!

www.buenosairesmission.com

God has been doing many great things here in Argentina! Take a chance to browse through this email to see just a few of the things God is doing among His people in Buenos Aires!

Once again, thank you for your love and support! Please keep us in your prayers as we discern God's will and strive to serve Him here in Argentina!

Michelle J. Goff of Iron Rose Sister Ministries was with us in Buenos Aires in June! She taught a women's conference about how we can delight in God and how God delights in us! The church was greatly blessed by her visit. For more information about her work and ministry, visit her website: www.ironrosesister.com
In June we said goodbye to David & Kelsey Criswell who served more than four months alongside us as short-term workers here in Buenos Aires! We thank them, miss them dearly and pray for the best for them in their new endeavors in Colorado!
8th Anniversary of Full-Time Mission Work in South America. This August, I celebrated my 8th anniversary as a full-time missionary here in South America. My very first experience in Latin America was in Lima, Peru in 2003. Since then I have served Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and now in Argentina. God has been so good to me, providing me with so many opportunities to grow as well as to serve in His Kingdom. I am not only thankful for Him and His mission, but I am thankful for my brothers and sisters in the United States who support me with their prayers and financial gifts. Together, God has been able to reach many people with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

I also celebrated my 30th birthday this July here in Buenos Aires! People in Argentina joke that turning 30 necessarily implies an existential crisis. While I would not define the days and months before my birthday as a crisis, it was definitely a time of fruitful reflection and thanksgiving for the many ways that God has blessed me throughout the years! My God is good! He is faithful! He is love! Thank you to so many, beginning with my parents, my brother and my church family for sharing God's love with me so that I might now share that love with others.
Café Literario. I have enjoyed reading great works of literature with both Christian and non-Christian friends here in Buenos Aires while we talk about questions of meaning, morality and other ultimate questions we often ask ourselves. Since I wrote last we have read short stories by Flannery O'Connor and Leo Tolstoy. Please pray for this group as we interact, grow closer and search for signposts of God's presence in our world.

Please continue to pray as I meet with and spend time with my non-Christian friends. Help me to present Christ to them in such a way that they might know Him and desire to take Him on as Messiah and Rabbi.

Also please pray for our church members as we grow more closely together. Help us to also grow in the image of Jesus as we work alongside God in reaching people in our city.
M.A. in Global Service. I am pleased to announce that I have begun the Master of Arts in Global Service program at Abilene Christian University. I spent two weeks on the ACU campus in August to begin the program. The rest of the course work can be completed from anywhere in the world because it is targeted at missionaries and others living and working in different countries. The program has been a great blessing to my life and ministry! Thank you to all who support me in this endeavor to better equip myself for my work.
Thank you so much for your prayers and generous support! I thank God for you!
