Beloveds,
Hello there. It's been awhile.
My family and I just returned from an epic trip around Indonesia and Thailand (I wrote a little bit about it at sunroseyoga.com this week. You can read that post right here.), and I'm lingering in a space of complete gratitude for my home. Like many wise travelers before me, I love to wander, and I adore coming home. Oregon is alive, absolutely alive, this time of year. I have many opportunities to experience the joy of raindrops and sunbreaks. Just breath-taking... or breath-giving.
I miss teaching terribly when I travel, and I am so happy to be back to my regular schedule of group classes and one-on-one sessions.
Beginning November 5, I'm offering a new class called Whole Yoga: The Other 7 Limbs. This is a class I have wanted to teach for years, and it is finally coming to fruition! A dream come true, truly. Whole Yoga explores a wide range of subtle practices in a supportive environment. In this weekly, drop-in class, we will practice the other 7 limbs of yoga that Patanjali describes in the Yoga. These other 7 limbs include ethics, personal observances, energy and breath awareness, sense refinement, concentration, meditation and integration. We will explore these topics in a variety of fun, creative, interesting ways (hairbrushes and incense will be involved). If you would like to learn more, simply reply to this email with the words "whole yoga". Class is $10 cash drop-in and $70 cash/check/card for an 8 class-pass. Whole Yoga will meet at 4940 NE 16th Avenue in Portland. This class will be available as an online video as well. Email me if you are interested in that option.
As always, thank you so much for being here. I adore the connections we foster through this practice and am so happy anytime I hear from a member of the community. You are my treasures. Truly.
Until next time, stay in the love,
Kelly
