Greetings Ex Fabulites!
Fall is in full swing, daylight savings and Halloween are just around the corner, and Season 6 is pushing full steam ahead! Our plate is full here at Ex Fabula, and we couldn't be happier. We hope that your stories will become part of our most memorable year yet.
StorySlams may be our claim to fame, but community outreach is also a critical component of Ex Fabula's mission to strengthen community bonds through storytelling. In the next weeks, we're featuring these partnerships on our social media pages and blog so you can learn more about them and the connections we've made through true and personal stories. (For example, the photo above shows our first Spanish language storytelling workshop - part of a new outreach project!)
We also want to know: how can Ex Fabula help you? If you know of an organization that could benefit from an Ex Fabula community partnership, contact Megan to discuss how Ex Fabula can leverage storytelling to help you reach your goals.

Be In with the In Crowd
Want to volunteer with Ex Fabula? You can join our team just in time for the next StorySlam! No really, we're holding our next volunteer orientation at Hot Water Wherehouse on Thursday, November 13th at 6:00 PM, right before doors open for "My Nemesis" at 6:30.
This short meeting will include a break down of event roles, review of the volunteer handbook and your opportunity to sign up for future volunteering roles. Learn more about opportunities and sign up for orientation here.
We will also provide light snacks for attendees. Beverages will be available for purchase following the meeting, as will tickets to My Nemesis - but surely you will have already purchased yours in advance.

Crossing Over
....was a hit! Thank you to everyone who attended our first StorySlam of the year on October 22nd at the Times Cinema. Newbies dominated the night with stories that were hilarious and bizarre, reflective and raw.
