LSERS Proposed Employer Rate for FY 2015-16: 30.2%
The Board of Trustees approved the proposed employer contribution rate of 30.2% for FY 2015-16 as recommended by the system’s actuary. This recommendation will go before the Public Retirement Systems' Actuarial Committee (PRSAC) on November 19, 2014 for approval and, unless the legislature adopts changes, this will be the employer contribution rate for 2015-16. LSERS will notify all employers of the approval after the PRSAC meeting.

Annual Privatization Questionnaire
The Annual Privatization Questionnaire was distributed via e-mail to all system Superintendents on August 15, 2014 and was required to be completed by each Superintendent and returned to LSERS by October 1, 2014.

Friendly Reminder: Due by the 15th of Each Month
Employers must submit monthly contribution reports, contribution payments and contribution check transmittals by the 15th of each month per state law. Most employers submit the reports and payments on time, but many fail to submit the contribution check transmittal timely which causes the payment to be placed on hold pending receipt of the proper breakdown of the payment. The contribution check transmittal form can be submitted online through the secure portal LSERSWeb.
