Finally getting into the swing of things since being back in New York. Percussionist Bashiri Johnson, bassist Ben Zwerin and I have been rehearsing some new material in addition to those on the new album. I'm really looking forward to sharing them with you beautiful people tomorrow evening—Saturday 25 October—at Silvana in Harlem. We will also be at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House on Sunday 9 November.
