How Did You Meet Your Mate?
In Meet Your Mate, Max and Annabel are acquainted through work, but they don’t acknowledge the attraction that sizzles between them until they’re matched up on a TV dating show. In honor of my September wedding anniversary, I shared on Facebook that I met my true love when I worked with his sister at the library in Evansville, Indiana, but it was months before we started dating. I asked my Facebook friends to share where they met their significant other and if it was love at first or second sight. The random winner of the contest was Loretta Sawyer.

Like so many others, Loretta met her mate at work. She said: He was in another department and transferred calls to mine… We actually met in the cafeteria when he said, “You’re the voice!” We started dating four months later and have been together 14 years (married for 11.)

How Superstitious Are You?
In Cursed By Love, Annabel is a superstitious school teacher while Gabe is a pragmatic computer programmer. She believes in the power of luck, fate, and all things magical; he believes in hard work, determination and making the most of the right opportunity.
