Update on Letter Writing!

So far we have received 230 letters to mail out from students and 140 new letters have gone out at rehearsal. Don’t worry if you wanted a packet to join in the fun, you can still get one at class this week!

Our fundraising goal is $12,000 and we are working towards this in order to receive a matching gift of $5000 when we reach it. Currently we have received $1100 in donations so we are on our way!

Ticket Sales Update!

Current total tickets as of this week: 633!
Thank you for your continued support by selling tickets! Please be aware that often our opening and closing shows will sell out…don’t get caught without a ticket! Book it today!

HYPE Happenings!

Hey CYT Santa Cruz! There was no class last week, so I for one cannot wait to see all of your shining faces on Thursday! Remember, the canned food drive is still happening, so keep bringing in cans and receive a lollipop!

Secondly, I would like to remind you all of this weeks theme day! Please wear one piece of your Halloween costume. That way, when you wear your full costume at the Costume Extravaganza the next day, everyone will have their minds blown!

Also, start getting HYPEd for the Just Dance Tournament! A Facebook Event was created and shared to the CYT Santa Cruz page so check that and you can find out all the details I'm sure you're dying to know! Also, don't hesitate to invite your friends from school or maybe church to this Tournament! It is seriously the perfect opportunity! See you on Thursday!

Help Us Party!

On October 31st we are having our first ever Costume Extravaganza! We would love to have YOUR help!

We are collecting:
-Paper towel and toilet paper rolls
-Battery operated tea lights
-Candelabras and candlesticks
-Plastic long stem roses
-White Christmas lights
-Gold frames, decorative sheet music
-Decorative Birdcages
-Gold and silver trays
-Mirrors

As you can tell there is something Exciting going on at the Costume Extravaganza! If you have any of these items or want to help, email Mary Jo.

Upcoming Events!

Costume Extravaganza!
October 31st 6:30-9:00pm
Vintage Faith Church

If you've ever been to a CYT dance you know that you are in for a treat this Halloween! CYT is sponsoring a Costume party complete with dancing, games, food and, of course, candy!

The fun begins at 6:30 and goes till 9pm. Admission is $10 each and since this event is for the whole family, we have a family price of $25. Tickets may be pre-purchased at class or rehearsal (starting October 2nd) for only $5 each.

So, start working on your costume and come on down to the Vintage Faith Gym for some good old fashioned fun!

Class Information

Hi CYT Students and Parents!

We are back in session on Thursday, October 30! So come to class in regular attire, but add just one piece of your Halloween costume! This should be a fun preview of the Costume Extravaganza that is happening the next evening. Bring some money to class because discounted tickets will still be available at class. ($5.00/each is discounted price) Tickets will be $10 each at the door, or $25 for a family.

One more week of class on Nov. 6th,and then SHOWCASE on Nov. 13th from 6:00 to 7:15! Bring your kids to class at the regular time that week, and then come back at 6:00 for a fabulous show! The kids have been working hard to present an enjoyable and entertaining showcase, so come and enjoy!

We are still collecting items at class for our Raffle Basket Fundraiser! Please remember to sign up this week at class if you haven't already. All items collection and packing will be done November 15th at 9:00 A.M. at Vintage Faith Church.

Thank you for bringing your items in before the deadline. We have a table in the parking lot for dropping those off!

Show Parent Information

It was a pleasure seeing all of your faces yesterday. I hope all of the information from yesterday has soaked in! If you have any lingering questions or missed a sign up, please feel free to contact me. In light of an "information-saturated" Saturday, I'd like to leave you all stress-free today with a quick and simple note for this upcoming week:

There are NO REHEARSALS this weekend, (There IS still class on Thursday, Oct 30th). We would love to see you all at the Costume Extravaganza. It's sure to be a good time.

Set Parents, we still will be working on Saturday November 1st from 9-1 at the Scotts Valley Build Location: 251 Kings Village Rd, SV.

Please enjoy your time together and your time off!!

Call Board

Hello Families! Since there is no rehearsal this weekend, the call for November 7th/8th will go out next newsletter.

Please, please, please practice during your time off. Before you come back to rehearsals make sure that you have practiced all your vocals, choreography, lines, and blocking at least twice.

Also, be sure to be selling those tickets! We all know how amazing it is to perform in front of a full house and we need your help to fill those seats!
