The workshops are currently offered on Tuesday nights from 6-8, but if you have another night that might work better into your schedule, please let us know.
Daryl-Ann Dartt Hurst, our instructor, was recently awarded the Artistic Achievement Award by the city of Rochester, NH, in the Visual Arts category. She has also been appointed to the Curatorial Board of the Rochester Museum of Fine Art., and has a piece in their permanent collection (now at the Rochester Library). Plus, she really loves to paint-and teach!
The class was originally designed for realism-but has been expanded to what-ever the student wants. Still life props will be provided, or bring a picture to be painted from. Or, just bring inspiration! Please stop by Blackbird to see samples of her watercolors!
