5th Annual Mr. CCH
Friday, November 14th the men of CCH will compete in the pageant to end all pageants! Our annual missions fundraiser will take place at 7pm at
Forum Christian Church. Guests will get to enjoy a coordinated dance, talents, evening wear, and a question and answer session from their favorite guys. All proceeds of the night will go toward the ministry of Steve and Alesha and their work in West Africa.
Meals for Missions
Every Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm you can come to the CCH dining room (704 S. College Ave, across from Physics) for a home cooked meal for just $5. This week Lydia will be serving up pizza, salad, and a dessert.
Corn Maze Round 2
Sunday, November 2nd we'll head out to Shryock's Corn Maze for some good ol' fall fun! Meet at CCH at 4:30pm, or at Shryock's at 5pm. Cost is $7/person. After getting our fill of wandering the maze we'll come back to CCH for some quality time around the fire pit!
CROSSROADS
On Thursday October 30th at 8:00pm, the North Quad Amphitheater is the place to be as CROSSROADS hits the University of Missouri. This dynamic one night event couples an incredible concert by Ben Rector & hip-hop artist Thi'sl along with a captivating presentation by Joe White asking the question "Is Jesus Relevant Today?" Grab some friends and check out what is sure to be a great night!
PROclaim Speaker
Monday, November 3rd Michael Hansen, the St. Louis Rams Chaplain and former V.P. of Customer Relations at Nestle Purina, will be speaking about faith in the business world. PROclaim, which stands for Professionals Claiming Biblical Principles, will host Mr. Hansen in the Clinton Club at MIzzou arena next Monday night at 8pm.
Cooks' Bonfire
Chad Cook's family is hosting a bonfire for CCH on Friday, November 7th in Jamestown. Make plans to attend to enjoy fun, fireside treats, quality fellowship time, and a taste of small town Missouri. Please RSVP on the sign up sheet at the connection table. The fun will start at 5pm, but you're welcome to show up anytime that afternoon or evening! Please carpool if possible!
Ride sign ups are available for those that need a ride or those with extra room in their car.
Small groups
It's not too late to jump into a small group! All small groups are taught by CCH staff members. This semester we'll be going through Bible Basics, covering topics like the nature of God, sin and salvation, giving, baptism, the second coming, the body of Christ, the resurrection, and more. All small groups meet in the basement of 704 S. College Ave. Here are the times and teachers:

Life Groups
Life groups are student led groups focused on growing together in the Word. This semester our life groups are going through the Gospel of John. They meet at various times throughout the week at various locations.

Service Ministries
At CCH we believe you learn to minister by doing ministry, so throughout the week we offer several different times to do ministry alongside our campus ministers. From visiting widows to working with refugees, making hospital visits to helping put on our worship service we have plenty of options to help you grow and see that ministry is a way of life, not just a job. Here are a few you can jump into at any time:
Children’s ministry Mondays 3:30-6pm
Serving Coyote Hill Christian Youth home every other week.
Prison Mondays 5-10pm
Help lead a Bible study at Vandalia Women’s Prison
Tiger Place Bible Study Tuesdays 4pm
Helping lead a Bible study at a retirement home.
Helping Hands Tuesdays 2-3pm
Doing various things throughout the community.
Refugee Ministry Wed 5-6pm
Help tutor local refugee children.
Nursing Home Thurs 3:15-4:30pm
Visit residents at Columbia Healthcare Center.
Tiger Place Church Service Sundays 2pm
Assist with a church service at a retirement home.
Homeless Sundays 3pm
Help prepare and distribute meals to local homeless.
