Newsflash: Coxy's Big Break Oddball GOR Special
+ RACV Victorian Tourism Awards 2014 Wrap Up.

The release of the movie Oddball is coming in the near future, Coxy's Big Break (Channel 7) featured not only the filming of the movie but snippets of the diversity of our Great Ocean Road Region.

Some of the diversity of the region was highlighted, including gourmet food and walking/cycling.

The filming of the episode started in Warrnambool and continued in; Port Campbell, 12 Apostles Gourmet Trail, Otway Harvest Trail and Birregurra & also featured other locations along the way.

Separate to this weeks Great Ocean Road feature, the Pole House in Fairhaven has a competition running at the moment in partnership with Coxy's Big Break. The video in conjunction with the competition also features Anglesea. For more information on the competition, please click here.

Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism thank and congratulate all operators and special guests who were involved in the filming- you definitely showcased the region very well!

The Great Ocean Road Coxy's Big Break Special will air this Sunday the 2nd of November at 5:30pm on Channel 7.
Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism would like to congratulate all winners, finalists and entrants of the 2014 RACV Victorian Tourism Awards. The awards were held at the Melbourne Convention Centre on Monday night.

The Great Ocean Road region had a great range of entrants from around the entire region.

A big congratulations goes out to John Watkinson and Colleen Guiney from Drift House, Port Fairy who took out the Luxury Accommodation category of the awards night. Just to give you a taste of the quality they were up against, the finalists included our very own RACV Torquay Resort and other finalists, Hilton South Wharf and Crown Metropol Melbourne. What a fantastic effort!

The Falls Music and Arts Festival were introduced into the Hall Of Fame with their win in the Sustainable Tourism category.
An absolutely great festival that we are lucky enough to have hosted in our region (alongside many great festivals and events that happen within our region)
Well done to Alycia Emmerson and her entire team on their induction into the Hall Of Fame, what a great effort!
