The Well in Ellis Auditorium

The Well is Wednesday at 8pm in Ellis Auditorium. Join us to take part in a worship service dedicated to Biblical teaching, genuine worship, and authentic relationships. This week we will continue our series entitled Stand Firm.
 

Homecoming Tailgate

Come celebrate Mizzou's homecoming with us this weekend! We're striking up the grills and cooking up some delicious food before watching our Tigers take on the Commodores of Vanderbilt. We ask that freshmen & sophomores bring a dessert to share, and juniors and seniors bring side dishes. Meat and drinks will be provided. 
 

Mexico Mission Trip

If you are at all interested in travelling to Mexico over Christmas break please contact Corey by sending him an email or stopping by the CCH office to learn more about what we'll be doing on the trip and how you can start preparing for it now! There is also a sign up sheet available at the connection table. 
 

Saint Vincent Mission Trip-- Meeting this week!

There will be a brief meeting about the trip to Saint Vincent this Wednesday after The Well. There are a few spots remaining for our mission trip to St. Vincent happening over Christmas break if you are interested in going! We'll be working with the Windward Islands School of Evangelism helping with building projects and a VBS! For more information, or to secure your spot talk to Lance
 

Meals for Missions

Every Friday from 11:30am-12:30pm you can come to the CCH dining room (704 S. College Ave, across from Physics) for a home cooked meal for just $5. This week Lydia will be serving up breakfast for lunch! 
 

5th Annual Mr. CCH

Friday, November 14th the men of CCH will compete in the pageant to end all pageants! Our annual missions fundraiser will take place at 7pm at Forum Christian Church. Guests will get to enjoy a coordinated dance, talents, evening wear, and a question and answer session from their favorite guys. All proceeds of the night will go toward the ministry of Steve and Alesha and their work in West Africa. 
 

Refugee Ministry Help

We are in need of more people to help work with the children that come to our Refugee ministry on Wednesday nights. From 5-6pm you can come help tutor children, help them with vocabulary and pronunciation, and show them the love that God has for them through your time. For more information contact Dennis, or come to CCH Wednesday night at 5pm.  
 

Pioneer Bible Translators

PBT will be visiting CCH this Wednesday, October 22nd and Thursday, October 23rd. Christi will be at CCH Wednesday night to talk about the work PBT is doing throughout the world, and different ways you can partner with them in that work! She will also be available Thursday morning to talk and answer any questions.
 

Corn Maze Round 2

Sunday, November 2nd we'll head out to Shryock's Corn Maze for some good ol' fall fun! Meet at CCH at 4:30pm, or at Shryock's at 5pm. Cost is $7/person. 
 

Small groups

It's not too late to jump into a small group! All small groups are taught by CCH staff members. This semester we'll be going through Bible Basics, covering topics like the nature of God, sin and salvation, giving, baptism, the second coming, the body of Christ, the resurrection, and more. All small groups meet in the basement of 704 S. College Ave. Here are the times and teachers:

Life Groups

Life groups are student led groups focused on growing together in the Word. This semester our life groups are going through the Gospel of John. They meet at various times throughout the week at various locations. Watch this video highlighting our life group leaders. Here is a list of times, locations, and leaders for life groups:

Service Ministries

At CCH we believe you learn to minister by doing ministry, so throughout the week we offer several different times to do ministry alongside our campus ministers. From visiting widows to working with refugees, making hospital visits to helping put on our worship service we have plenty of options to help you grow and see that ministry is a way of life, not just a job. Here are a few you can jump into at any time: 
Children’s ministry    Mondays 3:30-6pm
       Serving Coyote Hill Christian Youth home every other week.
Prison            Mondays 5-10pm
       Help lead a Bible study at Vandalia Women’s Prison
Tiger Place Bible Study    Tuesdays 4pm
       Helping lead a Bible study at a retirement home.
Helping Hands        Tuesdays 2-3pm
       Doing various things throughout the community.
Refugee Ministry        Wed 5-6pm
       Help tutor local refugee children.
Nursing Home        Thurs 3:15-4:30pm
       Visit residents at Columbia Healthcare Center.
Tiger Place Church Service Sundays 2pm
       Assist with a church service at a retirement home.
Homeless        Sundays 3pm
       Help prepare and distribute meals to local homeless.
