24 Madeline's in two (kind of) straight lines along with our beloved Macy's department store elf, Crumpet, made their way through Little Five Points during the L5P Halloween Parade last weekend! Thank you to all who came out and celebrated the kick off to the holiday season! We look forward to seeing you at Madeline's Christmas (back for its 7th year!) and Santaland Diaries (16 years of off-beat Christmas fun!).
A big THANK YOU to our
Hands On Atlanta volunteers!
Hands On Atlanta was very kind to have celebrated Hands On Atlanta day at Horizon Theatre! We truly appreciate the help we received from all of the volunteers who came out on Saturday morning! We filled pot holes in the parking lot, scrubbed the building top to bottom, and planted beautiful flowers to greet you all when you come see our productions!
MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!
FULTON COUNTY
2015 BUDGET HEARINGS -
ARTS PATRONS NEEDED!
The Fulton County Board of Commissioners is holding its annual week of budget hearings the last week of October in preparation for creating the 2015 budget. Each commissioner will hold a meeting in his or her district to hear the public’s opinion about budget allocation. It is critical for arts patrons to speak out at each meeting and encourage each commissioner to maintain the $1.5 million 2013 funding level. Please spread the word and attend the meetings in both your arts organization’s district and in the district where you live.
Email Collins at development@horizontheatre.com for more information or to let her know if you can help by attending.
