We were delighted to have Kevin cut the ribbon as he had opened the original Pink Place in 2010. Guests, volunteers and supporters filled 3 Wote Street and enjoyed exploring our new premises.

Meet The Volunteers

Janet Hancey

I first started volunteering for The Pink Place in 2010.  I currently manage The Pink Place Facebook page and it is great to see how many people read, share and like our page.  I also help at various fund raising events and enjoy baking cakes when needed for cake sales and other events.

Earlier this year I took up running and have sinced joined Sherfield Park Runners.  I take part in Parkrun at the Memorial Park every saturday proudly wearing my Pink Place running vest.  I have also entered Fleet 10k - and will be running this in aid of The Pink Place, this will be the furthest I have run!
