Hello,

I love candy corn!

Because of this, candy corn does not come into my house until the morning of Halloween because I will eat it all and have nothing to give out to the children who stop by!

I do search and search for the small bags of candy corn, but it is much easier to find the big bags... 

You know, the one you can just keep eating out of forever!
 
When I think about Halloween, three things come to mind for me:
 
Candy, Costumes and Caution.
 
This week’s blog is about the best way to manage all three of these things so that you can minimize the risks and downside associated with Halloween (this fabulous holiday where I get to eat candy corn!)
 
I can already feel my inner child perk up as I write to you and think about all this candy!  So much fun!!

Halloween. Ahhhh. A smile just takes over my face as I say the word.

I remember walking around Great Neck, New York with my friend Amy and sometimes other kids as well, filling up my plastic pumpkin and then coming home to sort through my loot. Halloween is the time of year when I discovered that Clark Bars, Bit-O-Honey and what used to be called $100,000 Bars (now called 100 Grand Bar) were oh so delicious.

And the costumes? Childhood memories of the elephant costume made out of a hooded gray sweat suit (stuffed trunk and all), the devil costume I wore for more than one year, and what about those plastic ones that are like hospital gowns with the old fashioned masks?
