Pi Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi & Athlete's for Charity- Athletes for Charity is presenting a special surprise to a few elementary schools based in Charlotte this Fall/Winter. They are specifically hosting book distribution events to deliver brand new books to each of the students as part of their Youth Literacy Initiative with a goal of delivering 100,000 books to students attending Title I schools by the end of this year. Pi Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi along with Athletes for Charity and a few of the Carolina Panthers will be at each school for a day to visit PreK and K classrooms to deliver their books to them in class and then host 20-30 minute assemblies with 1st through 5th grade students. More info on the visit and volunteer opportunities will be sent later. We will officially launch our campaign this Thursday October 23rd at the Gray's Happy Hour being held at Ruth's Chris but you can begin to donate now. Monetary donations to purchase books can be made online through the link below, at the Gray's event, or at the Omega Frat House. Contact Bro.
