What a glorious Autumn it is in Bear River, Nova Scotia. The trees are brilliant colours and the fallen leaves are fragrant.
I've been painting as fast as I can in preparation for a month-long show in Annapolis Royal with fellow artist Susan Geddes who has flown in from Victoria BC with her paintings.

Susan and I welcome you to join us this Sunday afternoon at Artsplace in Annapolis Royal.

New Work
In my painting practice, I love to experiment...it keeps life interesting. I am fascinated with the many ways that a mood or a theme can be expressed with colour.

What's New on the Easel?
in honour of my and Larry's 7 year anniversary of moving to Nova Scotia, I bought a long-overdue membership to the Historic Gardens in Annapolis Royal. It is a great source of inspiration for me -- year round. I spent time there recently painting a series of little 8" x 11" paintings. They will debut at the upcoming show.
I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way — things I had no words for. ~Georgia O'Keeffe
