Can all those who intend to support the event be down at the club at 2:00pm at the latest. The general public will be arriving from 2:30pm onwards. We still need volunteer sailors, ramp attendants, RIB support and help in the galley. Please get in touch with Amanda to say how you can help out: Email bandastuart@xtra.co.nz or phone 817 9934

Spring Series #3 & WoW

Cracking weekend on the water at FBYC

We enjoyed a great weekend's sailing at FBYC in fresh spring breezes. Congratulations to all our WoW attendees who christened the new Topazs and to Amanda and Rebecca for the scones and cup cakes. Thanks to Don, Amanda, Fergus, Brendan, James and Crispin for running the racing and shore support on Sunday. Four excellent races to blow the cobwebs of winter away ... results here

Opti North Island Results

cold and variable conditions on the lake

FBYC sent a team to the North Island Champs over the weekend. Friday saw breezes of 15-20 knots followed by less than 7 knots on Saturday and Sunday. Gavin came in with a credible 23rd overall with a 2nd in one race. Carlos got a 67th, followed by Elise (88th), Sam (90th) and Abbey (96th) out of a fleet of 104. Ulysse placed a strong 26th in his 1st Green fleet regatta. Everyone had a great time despite the conditions and all should be proud of what they achieved in their first ranking regatta of the season
