Education: It's What We Do
River Bend Nature Center's mission is one of education. We seek to help all people discover the natural world, learn to enjoy it by understanding its history, diversity, and value. We do all this because informed citizens who are interested in and enjoy nature will seek to conserve nature for this and future generations. With engaging nature and environmental education, we can change our community and the world.
Be sure to tell your friends and family to support River Bend on Give to the Max Day, too!

Prizes
Golden Ticket prizes will be awarded each hour during the day to one nonprofit who has received a donation during that hour. To help River Bend have the most chances to win an additional $1,000 Golden Ticket prize, make multiple donations throughout the day (minimum donation amount is $10)!

Plus, River Bend wants to cheer our supporters on to new giving heights by offering "door prizes" from our gift shop throughout the day to randomly selected donors.  What a great day for giving!

Interpretive Center & Grounds Closed November 8-11th
We will be closed to the public on November 8th through the 11th while we conduct our deer management hunt. Our trails, Rustad Road, the Interpretive Center, and our land will be off limits during the hunt to ensure a safe and effective hunt for our hunters, our neighbors, our wildlife, and the public.  We will reopen on Wednesday the 12th.
