Prime and Mechanical Engineer for this chilled water system renovation, included designs to replace the failing rooftop condensing unit system and coils in the existing air handler to accommodate the new cooling system, and designs for new temperature controls.

GBG was prime consultant, managing sub-consultants and providing the mechanical designs for the replacement of the boiler and electrical panels. We led a study of options and costs, and provided the design for required demolition, condensing boiler replacement, LPG back-up fuel system (Natural Gas primary), pump replacement, boiler controls, electrical panels, emergency power, emergency lighting, and structural strengthening as required to support chimney bracing.
City of Seattle, Seattle Aquarium Piers 59/60 Renovations
GBG was prime consultant and completed two complex renovations to the Seattle Aquarium circulation and filtration systems. The filter replacement portion of the work consisted of mechanical design and management of the electrical sub-consultant, for a saltwater filtration system at the occupied and functional Aquarium. The project also included sanitary sewer and sewage lift systems.
