It’s not too soon to be thinking about Thanksgiving and end-of-semester travel plans. Students may use their CalCards to ride the MMVTA at no cost from campus to downtown Pittsburgh where they can make connections with transportation hubs such as the Greyhound bus station, Pittsburgh Amtrak train station, and the MegaBus pick-up location at the David Lawrence Convention Center. The Office of Student Affairs and the Student Association also sponsor shuttle transportation between main campus and major transportation hubs such as Pittsburgh International Airport. The shuttle service is offered for a small fee at the end of Fall and Spring semesters and during breaks when the University is officially closed. Shuttle arrangements must be made several days in advance.
