UAE Minister of Economy Leads Delegation to the United States
The UAE Minister of Economy, His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, and a delegation of UAE business leaders visited the United States to reinforce the strong trade, business and economic ties between the two countries. The delegation, which centered on entrepreneurship and innovation, began its trip in Washington, DC, meeting with stakeholders before traveling to Seattle, Silicon Valley, and Los Angeles. During the visit, the UAE Minister and delegation participants shared updates on the country's growth and economic diversification plans. UAE Consul General Visits New Mexico and Utah to Solidify West Coast Ties
During trips to Utah and New Mexico, UAE Consul General Abdulla Alsaboosi met with state government officials, local business leaders and other stakeholders to highlight the close UAE-US alliance. In Albuquerque, the Consul General spoke at the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management, reflecting on bilateral trade and the growing ties between the state and the UAE. While visiting Salt Lake City, the Consul General met with Governor Gary Herbert, officials from the Governor's Office of Economic Development, and Utah Film Commission.
