Sunday, November 9
David Colby, preaching

As the Gospel of John begins, Jesus is shown doing curious and provocative acts of ministry.  And when people ask what is going on, he simply says, “Come and See.”  And that is the theme for our 2015 Stewardship Campaign – Come and See the good we are doing together at Central.  As we dedicate our pledges and offerings, let us reflect on the ways that we can make good things possible.  Rev. Colby will preach and a highlight for this Sunday will be an anthem sung by our children “Come Walk with Us (the Journey is Long).”

In addition to our children, and our choir, special music will be provided by Laura Clay and Jennifer Anderson as they play  Mozart’s  Sonata No. 4 for four-hand piano.

A congregational meeting to elect officers will be held Sunday, November 9 immediately following the 10:30 am worship service.  All active members of the Central congregation are eligible to vote and be considered for office.  A slate of nominees for vacant positions on the Session and Board of Deacons will be presented by the Nominating Committee, as well as nominations for next year’s Nominating Committee member-at-large positions.  Additional nominations from the floor may be made at the meeting.
