“When I’m writing I’m always looking for inspirational sounds, I want sounds that haven’t been created by conventional instruments. This propels me to seek out unusual or abstract objects to manipulate and sample. I wanted to put together a collection of these objects and then sample them with multiple mic positions, and give them an interface that would allow each sound to be tuned and blended individually or as groups across 3 different mic positions"

Sounds And Effects sound designers go back to nearly the beginning of sampling in the late 1980's, and were involved mostly with E-Mu Systems creating sound libraries for the samplers E-Mu produced including the Emulator III, the Emulator IV series, and Emulator X. For the sound modules/ synthesizers, Sounds And Effects worked on almost all of E-Mu's hardware synths including the Proteus, Vintage Keys, Proteus 2000 series, Audity 2000, Xtreme Lead. MP-6 drum machine, and created many of the Morpheus' morphing "z- plane" filters. Other early clients included Roland, Northstar, Q-Up Arts, Big Fish Audio, Island Records, ABC TV, Voice Crystal, Antares Systems.
Spaceology contains 13 patches for Kontakt 5+ from space... no, really!
The patches are all derived from the actual NASA recordings recently released into the public domain. Creepy pads, ethereal tempo synced pulses (one of which is derived from the infamous Sputnik signal), as well as a Mission VOX patch which contains 22 choice bits of dialogue from NASA missions and various radio beeps and static one shots mapped to the lower octaves. All of the samples utilized were meticulously remastered and cleaned for maximum clarity for both sample awesomeness and archival purposes. Check out all of the patches in the video below:

Today's Harvest is a small sample pack featuring loops and sounds inspired by Boards of Canada new album.
The pack includes: 5 loop kits, 27 miscellaneous loops, 3 one shots and a bonus techno trance loop kits (including WAV loops, one shots and MIDI files).

Dusty Eclectic Goldmine is a collection of sounds consisting mainly of breakbeat loops. The focus is on dirty, lofi sounds that would fit well into a mix of Boards of Canada or Aphex Twin tracks. The collection also include a dialogues folder full of sound clips from vintage advertising & educational movies. Those public domain cuts have been selected to be useful for anyone seeking worthwhile sound bites to put in their mix. They have been sampled with Ninja Tune records & early 1990 IDM in mind. The rest of the collection consist of inspiring music loops as well as FXs, one shots & vinyl crackles.
