Making parenting advice work for you
Dear friends,
I am excited for Katharine Holabird’s—author of the wildly popular “Angelina Ballerina” series—return to CMEE later this month to read from her new book, “Twinkle!” We conducted a brief interview with Katharine that you can read here. One of the questions we asked was, “What is the best piece of parenting advice you have ever received?” Katharine responded, “Enjoy every moment.” I try to keep this in mind even as my son, Bennett, is bawling at 3am because his gums hurt from teething.

Katharine Holabird Q&A
The beloved children's author talks about writing, the East End, and childhood
The Children's Museum of the East End is pleased to welcome back author, Katharine Holabird, for a reading of her newest book series, "Twinkle." Henry Appreciation Month
We're celebrating our #1 bunny
Henry the Bunny, CMEE’s mascot, turned 8 years old this fall! That means he’s a senior citizen in the rabbit world! To show him how much we value all of the time he’s spent at CMEE, we've designated November as HENRY APPRECIATION MONTH.
Help us celebrate Henry by designing your own thank you card the next time you visit the Museum! When you’re card is completed, hand it to the front desk so we can hang it in the Museum’s lobby where Henry is sure to see them!
Fall Food Drive
This fall and holiday season, please join us in helping those less fortunate. We are collecting non-perishable items to distribute to area food food pantries from now until the end of the year. A donation bin can be found in our lobby near the front desk.
For more information, please contact the Museum at 631.537.8250.
