Last year, we sent you a survey asking what drives you to be a co-op member. What we heard, loud and clear, was that being part of the co-op was a way of living out values you hold sacred. Like ethically sourced food. Or fair compensation for work. Or investing in the community.

The East End Food Co-op just celebrated its 39th birthday. We are looking at ways to ensure that we can continue to be your values driven neighbourhood co-op for decades to come. 

In this email, and in the store, we are asking members for ideas and feedback on a new approach to member benefits. We are interested in exploring an alternative to the current member discount. What that alternative will be, we don't know yet! Perhaps a points or rewards program, or a charitable giving model.  Or something completely different! We invite members to share their thoughts and ideas through this survey, by email, in store, or at an upcoming member 'meet and chat' on December 4th at 5:30 pm. Location near the co-op to be determined.
