Lesson 451: Redeeming the Time
1 Cor.12:7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
Spiritual gifts, the grace we received, our fruit was all given to feed others.
Eph.4:7 grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ's gift
Eph.4:11-12 he gave the apostles, the prophets, evangelists, the shepherds & teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ
Eph.4:15-16 speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined & held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Once we realize that our righteous living is part of God’s eternal plan, it changes everything.
We begin to recognize the importance of our life, of redeeming the time with worthwhile acts. Eph.5:16; Col.4:5 KJV
About This Series
The goal of this series is to become more useful in serving the Lord Jesus Christ, as an instrument in the Redeemer's hand. The theme verses for the series are Ephesians 4:22-24, Philemon 11, 2 Timothy 2:21
- to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,
- and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
- Formerly he was useless to you, but now he is indeed useful to you and to me.
- Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work.
