Llangarron Parent and Baby/Toddler Group
A new parent and baby/toddler group will begin meeting on Fridays from 10am - 12 noon at The Garron Centre, Llangarron from 7th November. This will be an informal group run by parents, however Val Sullivan and Rachel Hitchen are happy to help get the group established and promote it.  Charges will be minimal (maybe £2 - £3 per week - but this is for the group to decide) as the LCA is keen to support families and provide opportunities for them to meet and socialise. Please spread the word and contact Val 01989 770291 or Rachel 01989 770590 or hello@llangarron.info for info. The event is posted on The Garron Centre facebook page so please share the post to facebook friends in the area.

Community Café in association with Woods of Whitchurch

There was a great turnout for the first Community Café last Saturday, including some new residents...welcome to you all.  Everyone seemed to enjoy the delicious snacks - bacon rolls, cheese toasties, toasted teacakes along with freshly brewed tea and coffee.  Woods of Whitchurch were selling newspapers, croissants, bread, milk and much more.

Tell us what you would like and we will find out whether we can provide it! The cafes will be open on the 4th Saturday of the month from now on.

Llangarron Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan

Yesterday the Garron Centre hosted the latest Neighbourhood Plan Consultation and Apple Festival.  If you weren't able to come along details of the progress so far and a questionnaire (which can be completed and returned to Jenny Bailey, Julie Joseph, Frances Warrren, Mike Jones, Dave Chivers or Barbara Fisher) will be posted onto the village facebook pages and www.llangarron.info website shortly.
