INDIA & GREECE
I was lucky enough to return to India in September and finally I had a 'real' holiday to Greece in October!
The opportunities for experiences in India are endless... we were hosted by Taj Palace hotels, you will recognise the Taj in Mumbai from the BBC's documentary 'Hotel India' and we also enjoyed travel by classic cars, rickshaws, jeeps and camels (well maybe not 'enjoyed' the camels...) in Jodphur, enjoyed high tea on one of the longest dining tables in the world and street food in Hyderabad and explored the land of 'slumdog millionaire' and the huge open air laundry in Bombay! |
Jenny and David are just back from an amazing journey through India where they celebrated Diwali in Jaipur!
"We were looked after like Sahib and Sahiba from our arrival in Delhi until our departure!"
They rode rickshaws in Old Delhi, took the train to the 'pink city' of Jaipur and enjoyed royal treatment at Amanbagh and experienced the Taj Mahal ...
"By the way, due to you, I received 6 birthday cakes!! Only just managed to escape The Imperial from sending a 7th!!"

Mags went to ....
USA - on the Blues Trail!
We drove around the 'deep south' experiencing musical culture and the mighty Mississippi!
I loved New Orleans for the diversity of culture - being European in flavour with beautiful architecture and Clarksdale had an authentic 'Deep South' feel to it.
We also stayed in a shack in the country and visited loads of amazing Blues bars in Nashville. We saw Alligators and Graceland and sampled too much local food .... !
I look forward to planning some USA fly drives for our clients to this region in 2015! |
Steph and Sharon had the time of their lives on Route 66!
