UPDATES: Out Of Office, And A New Contact Person

Dr. Larrow will be on vacation at the end of November.
Starting Saturday the 22nd of November until Sunday the 30th of November, Dr. Larrow will be on vacation. She will also be in-and-out of town during this stretch of time so unfortunately no appointments can be scheduled for this time period. Also, please remember to contact us about any refills you might need ahead of time so that we can help you.

Contacting Dr. Larrow will not change during this time as she will have access to her e-mail, and phone. However, since she will be out of town, please understand that response to your questions, and requests may be delayed. As always, if there is a life threatening emergency please dial the appropriate first responders at 911.

A New Contact Person To Help Out.
As Dr. Larrow's business grows, we want to make sure that we can help you with scheduling, and anything else (like refills) more efficiently. And also more timely. So starting this month of November, I will be answering Dr. Larrow's phone during the week, and when I have the ability to do so. Our effective hours for this will be Tuesday through Saturday, during normal business hours with a 12pm PST one hour break. This information will be added to the website, and a blog post will also be issued. If you would rather speak to Dr. Larrow about any matter instead, I can take a message, and have her reach out to you as soon as possible. We take your privacy very seriously.

Thanksgiving

Something I'm thankful for... you, my patients.

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all that we are thankful for. This year has been a wonderful year for me in so many different aspects. Personally, I have grown in countless ways. Perhaps age does wisen us up a bit. Professionally, my practice has grown leaps and bounds. And, it is all because of you guys: my patients. You have all taught me, shared with me, and made me grow on a daily basis. I thank you for your referrals, your questions, and your trust.

I am thankful for Chris, my husband and office manager, for all that he does for the practice. He allows me to spend time doing the patient care as he focuses on the day-to-day aspects of the business. Without his support, and that of my family, my practice would not be where it is today.

As you all gather at your Thanksgiving table this year, please take a moment to reflect on all that it is you’re blessed, and thankful for having. I know I will be doing just that when thinking about all of my patients as I celebrate Thanksgiving with family. Thank you for being a part of my practice, my family, and my life.

In Case You Missed It...

This month, Dr. Larrow blogged about just getting outside, eating a proper breakfast, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and more!

October 1st - Go Out Into Nature. Do It Now. - "Seriously, just stop what you are doing, and go outside for a few minutes. Breath some fresh air. Take a nature break..."

October 8th - Naturopathic Medicine Week Is Here! - "...Some of you know my story. You know about how I found naturopathic medicine, or maybe I should say how naturopathic medicine found me. But, if you don’t know the story here it is..."

October 16th - Catching Up With Yourself - "...I want you to understand that I know what you go through with making these lifestyle changes in the middle of a busy life..."

October 22nd - Breast Cancer Awareness Month - "...Breast cancer has made an appearance in my family as my maternal grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was a younger women. She went through treatment, and had a breast removed to save her life..."

October 29th - Breakfast Does Matter - "...Our brains need fuel, and we get that fuel from the foods that we eat. Thus starting the day by not eating, or with a high sugar/carbohydrate meal (such as cereal) does not give our bodies what they need. We need to start the morning with a meal dense in nutrients, that has a wide range of colors, and is rich in good macronutrients..."

Thanks for reading Dr. Larrow's blog this month. As always, this section exists for those who don't always have the time to visit the site. You can also email her with ideas, questions, and subjects you would like to see her blog about! Have a great November, and Happy Thanksgiving.
