Welcome to the Funky Buddha Brewery Newsletter!

Looking for the latest news on South Florida's hottest brewery? The Funky Buddha Brewsletter is coming at you once per month with all the FBB-related news, events, and happenings. Here's what's going on in this month's edition:

Maple Bacon Coffee Porter is back, baby! Our annual bottle release and festival returns on January 10, 2015, so save the date! This epic street party will take place all day and include a swarm of food trucks, special release beers, debut tastings, and bottles of MBCP itself. More info via our blog.

Get ready to party like they do in Kansas City! Our friends at Boulevard Brewing Company have finally packed up the RV and hitched a ride to South Florida. We'll be hosting a welcome party with some epic beers on draft, plus cool Boulevard shwag and beer pairings, on November 19. Read more on the party here.

Sweet Potato Casserole -- our answer to the ubiquitous pumpkin ale -- is returning just in time for Thanksgiving! SPC will hit distribution at bars and restaurants across South Florida on draft this Friday! It will also debut in the tap room on Wednesday, November 12. Read more about SPC here.

Yoga w/ Mary

DescriptionJoin us Sunday mornings for Yoga with Mary at the brewery! Check in starts at 10:30am, $15 per person gets you an hour of yoga and a pint of Funky Buddha beer after the class. Join Mary as she guides us through a sequence that focuses on breath, alignment and nurturing the joy buried deep within. All levels are welcome, no experience necessary. All you need to bring is a mat, towel, and yourself! Mary Denaro is a home grown Floridian, Certified Yoga Teacher, and Breast Cancer Survivor. Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer in July 2013. Shortly after her diagnosis she endured surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Through her Yoga practice she was able to alleviate many side effects of cancer treatment, develop a positive attitude, and live life more joyfully. She became passionate about nutrition, wellness, and helping others. Her mission is to assist others in finding the seed of happiness within. Teaching them to nurture that seed until radiates into happiness throughout their entire being.

Coastal Boxer Rescue

DescriptionWe are teaming up with Coastal Boxer Rescue of Florida for a November Yappy Hour! From 2pm-5pm, if you donate $5+ to the cause, you will get a wristband good for $1 off Funky Buddha drafts inside. Food Trucks will be out front, and good times for all! Coastal Boxer Rescue of Florida, Inc. is a not for profit organization dedicated to rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected boxers and securing them forever homes. Our organization was founded in 2005 by volunteers that are paid only through the unconditional love from the dogs that we save! We do not have a central shelter or location; all of our dogs are housed with the dedicated foster homes of CBR. We are fully dedicated to the successful rehoming of boxers. In combination with other Florida boxer rescue groups, over 400 boxers are rescued and are provided loving homes annually. Coastal Boxer Rescue cares for more than 100 boxers each year.
 
Pints for Pups w/ Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue

DescriptionJoin us and Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue for a day filled with pints and pups! If you donate $5 or more to the cause, you will get a wristband that is good for "Yappy Hour" which is $1 off all Funky Buddha drafts inside from 2pm-7pm Mission: Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue is dedicated to the "3 R's": rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of surrendered, abandoned, neglected and homeless English Bull Terriers into loving, stable homes. As a shelterless rescue, all our dogs are fostered in home environments to evaluate their needs and prepare them for their forever homes. We are based in Columbia, South Carolina and have transport available to place dogs along the East Coast. In 2013 Recycla-Bull Terrier Rescue saved 102 bull terriers and most were from south Florida. RCBTR, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, all donations are tax deductible!
