Hello,

Are you an Oprah fan? I am.

I just returned from an amazing weekend in Miami for Oprah’s “The Life You Want” Weekend. I bought two tickets back in April and brought my mother so she can have the life she wants too.

Oprah is an interesting mix of a larger-than-life celebrity who changes lives and an ordinary woman who struggles with her weight and other insecurities just like the rest of us. She just has way more homes, money, and her own television network!

Why am I sharing this with you?

Because I think we all too often forget to consider the life we actually want. So many of us go about our daily business unhappy, frustrated, or resigned to the idea that the way our life is now is the way it has to stay.

Well, Oprah and I are here to tell you that you have more power and influence over your own life than you could ever imagine!

I often ask my clients  what they wish was different about their lives. We then discuss how one of our goals together can be to help them make some of those changes so that their lives are happier and include more of what they enjoy. And when that begins to happen, the results are amazing!

In this week’s blog, I share with you some of the wisdom I gleaned from my amazing Oprah weekend and I have a very important question for you. I hope it leads you to take a step closer to the life you actually want.

Warmly,

What Kind of Life Do You Want?

The program included Friday evening with Oprah alone on stage to set the proverbial stage, and then Oprah back on Saturday along with Deepak Chopra (pioneer of mind-body medicine), Elizabeth Gilbert (of Eat, Love, Pray fame), Rob Bell (Author and Pastor) and Iyanla Vanzant (star of Iyanla: Fix My Life on OWN Network).

While onstage, Oprah encouraged us to consider what we enjoy doing and what gives us pleasure and a sense of purpose. She explained that if you can combine your passion and purpose with...
