How You Can Help Others in the Snow Storm

First Trinity Members and Friends,

Let us love not in word or talk, but in deed and in truth. -1 John 3:18 (ESV)

Our Western New York community has been impacted by a massive snow storm. Here's how you can help:
  • Pray: Please pray for those in the storm and those serving others in the storm (first responders, health professionals, snow plow drivers, etc.).
  • Reach out: If you are located in areas where the snow has fallen, check on your neighbors and help those around you whenever you can!
  • Provide food: there is an opportunity to help provide homemade soup and baked goods to feed the crews of emergency workers who have come into the area.  The place to drop off the soup and baked goods is the Clarence Firehall at 10355 Main Street Clarence, NY (716)-759-8842.  If you have any questions about this endeavor please call Steve Biegner at (716) 868-1232.
  • Saturday Shoveling: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo has been designated as a staging point for volunteers to report to who would like to shovel snow for those who need assistance.  If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mary Wolf, the Office Administrator at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eggertsville,  by calling 835-0407 or emailing stpauls1827@juno.com
Take this chance to make a difference in Jesus' name!

In His Light,

Susan Steege
Director of Transformation Ministries

P.S. If you decide to cook or shovel, we'd love to hear how it went--and see a picture!
