Christmas Decorating
Spend a few hours with us this Sunday after service decorating the church for the Christmas season to prepare a beautiful place for guests to visit. A light lunch will be provided along with cookies and hot chocolate. Contact Tricia Morris if you'd like to decorate with us.

Gift a Dinner
This Christmas make a difference in someone’s life by providing Christmas dinner for a family. We encourage you not to look at this simply as another opportunity to provide a box of food, but as an opportunity to reach our community. To let them know there’s a church family that loves them, that they are welcome in, and most importantly that Jesus loves them. If you’d like to provide a dinner, pick up a box with instructions in the foyer.

Knitting Together
We meet God in the ordinary and in the simplicity of being loved and loving others. Our knitting ministry turns the ordinary into the extraordinary through their craftsmanship, providing knitted and crocheted items to those in need. Prayer shawls, infant blankets and hats are knit with the prayer that God's healing love is being knit into each stitch of every shawl and blanket. We recently received the following letter from “Amy†who recently received a prayer shawl:
- "Knitting Together Ministry, Hello! I am a longtime regular patient at Memorial Hospital and was given one of your prayer shawl’s this week. I wanted you to know how much it means to me and how special and loved you’ve each made me feel. Being sick can often feel quite lonely but you guys have certainly made me feel the love and prayers of many…for that I’m so grateful to you and the great work you do. Please accept my donation towards materials to make someone else smile and feel warm and surrounded with love and prayer. May you all be blessed! Thanks again!"
This Christmas, we invite others to join us to wrap and enfold others in God’s love. As part of the Women’s ministry, we will be putting together knitted and crocheted potholders to be included in food boxes going to families in need this Christmas. We encourage you to join us in fellowship and become a part of this prayerful ministry reaching out to those seeking comfort and relief. Yarn donations are always welcomed. Ladies Fellowship
Hey ladies, join us Thursday, Dec 4th and Thursday, Dec 11th at 6pm at Darlene Branum’s house. Dinner will be served and we will be making recipe gift jars for the Gift a Dinner Christmas boxes. Please give $8.00 to cover the cost of the materials and ingredients. You must sign up and pay in the foyer so plans can be made for how many will be attending each night to adequately prepare dinner for all. Directions to her house will be available.
