Capote is a wee 10 mo old shih tzu mix who has a little bit of a cold no thanks to his being in a dirty shelter then into a boarding kennel. Let's get him OUT and into a foster home, shall we? We don't know much about him except we hear that he loves Turkey Day!!

Leo the gentle lion needs a foster home! We found Leo wandering the streets of East LA where he was limping and all cut up from being hit by a car...who knows how long he had been like that...and noone even bothered to stop and help...Well, with some TLC, some magic Dogs Without Borders fairy dust, and some good lovin, this boy is all healed up and ready for a home! Like a typical dog, he's not holding any grudges about what happened to him in his past...whatever it was...He is an incredible sweetheart that likes playing with toys. He is good with other dogs, even small ones, and he simply LOVES people including kids. He is a great companion and enjoys just hanging out. He is great on a leash and knows his basic commands. He is also housebroken and crate-trained. He's not a barker and likes to be both indoors and out. Oh, and he does full body wiggles every time he eats. It's hilarious! Leo is 2.5 years old and weighs 72 lbs.

Shaggy and his ears are on a mission for a new foster. He is 4 years old, weighs 13lbs and is a bundle of love! Shaggy is mild mannered, very polite, and.a little timid. He walks well on leash, doesn't mark or bark and loves to play with other dogs.

Coco lost her family when they had a baby and surrendered her. Now almost 8 months later she has been hopping from one foster home to the next, but still no one to call her own family. We're hoping that the next foster will be her last, as we just know she is a great little dog with kids, other pets, or even as your solo armchair wing-woman. Coco is a 4yr old min pin/chihuahua mix who is at that perfect age of adulthood where she is mellow and appreciates just being a part of the family.

TEMP FOSTER NEEDED 11/26-11/29
Theo is our feisty little 3 year old, 15lb pure Pekingese who needs a Thanksgiving temp foster! He is high energy, loves to run, loves attention and is housebroken. He would prefer to be an only dog, but could be open to having a mellow temp foster sister or brother!

Mamma Mia & her three 5 week old puppies (see below pic of Sam, Harry and Bill) NEED A FOSTER BY FRIDAY! Her temp foster mom says she is very sweet and is not paying any mind to the cat in the house, but she is not yet 100% housetrained. This family just needs some patience and someone knowledgeable (or willing to learn) about raising a litter, but don't worry, our foster mentors will help you through the process!

URGENT FOSTER WITH NO OTHER PETS NEEDED
Mellow is fighting his way back to good health, and really need to go to a foster home where he can be the only pet right now. He needs TLC to get him back on the mend, poor little guy is 3 mo old pug/terrier/brussel griffon mix who weighs only 5lbs.

Reina was recently adopted but sadly, even though she gets along with the cats, the cats do not get along with her, so she is coming back to us. We'd love to have her go into a foster home with other dogs as soon as TOMORROW, and if you are fun, active and have lots of love to give, Reina is your girl! She has some separation anxiety but with the exercise and companionship of other dogs, we think she'll improve quickly!

Sweet Jasmine was adopted a few years ago but sadly, she is coming back to us and we would love to have her go into a foster home soon! A foster would need to know that she has trust issues with people when she firsts meet you, and would do best in a home without kids and a lot of visitors (at least for now).

Zsa Zsa was just hanging out when she heard the news at the shelter that she was on her last 24 hours. Time was running out so she decided to make sure she caught the attention of some volunteers who took her plight to social media, where thankfully our rescue was able to step in to help her in time. Zsa Zsa is 7yr old, a Yorkie Terrier mix and who would do best in a foster home right now without small kids, so she can full decompress.

Cute little Tanya (about 7 pounds) is looking for a quiet and calm foster home with no kids. She gets a bit afraid of the world and of people that she doesn't know, likely because she was dumped on the streets right after she nursed a litter of puppies (then ending up in the shelter). She's hoping someone will understand what she's gone through and her tough little exterior, and help her come out of her shell a bit. She is about 3 years old.

Charlie Sheen is a 2yr old Belgian Malinois/Retriever mix who was saved from a horrible hoarding situation by our great rescue team. Charlie loves playing with other dogs, fresh air and time in the yard to play, and after a few months of patience and support by his foster mom, Charlie has started to really show signs of rehabilitation. She says that now he looks to her to be touched, enjoying being pet and sitting quietly by her chair when she is working. Something like this for a dog who has gone through such trauma and neglect, it is the equivalent of running a marathon- a lifetime achievement attained for our Charlie Sheen!
Please consider fostering him and maybe, who knows, you'll fall in love with the man we see him starting to become...

Giorgio is a 1-2 yr old poodle mix who was surrendered to the shelter by his owners. When he came to our rescue, he would shake uncontrollably and could barely walk on leash. He has spent the last month with a foster who helped rehabilitate is fragile ego, and a pack of other dogs that taught him how to play and have fun again. We're hoping his next foster home will "fail" and keep him forever, because Giorgio has truly found a new lease on life that he would like to share with a family of his very own.
