Celebration of Life

Cancer Angels of San Diego presents “Celebrate the Music of Life” on Saturday, November 22, at 6pm, at the Silver Gate Yacht Club. The evening will feature performances by Curtis Chan, DDS, La Jolla Symphony cellist playing pieces by the organization’s founder Eve Beutler; David Ahmadian, classical pianist and Canyon Crest Academy student playing his original work; Adrienne Nims and Spirit Wind; Annaiah Jones; and Ali Gilmore, singer/songwriter and inspirational cancer patient. Chargers Drive XXXVI

The San Diego Blood Bank is getting ready for its longest running community event, the Chargers Drive XXXVI, held on Tuesday, November 25, from 9am-6pm, at the Town & Country Convention Center in Mission Valley. Attendees can meet the Chargers players, enjoy live music and interactive activities, and take advantage of free bone marrow registry testing. Guests will also enjoy performances by Pip, a finalist from Season 2 of The Voice, as well as other great bands and solo artists. There will be a VIP meet and greet opportunity with the Chargers players in an intimate, exclusive reception.

Santa Claus is coming to The Drake Center

Santa Claus makes a special stop at The Drake Center on Sunday, November 30, from 12-4pm. Get a great shot of your furry family member on Santa’s lap and help a wonderful cause this holiday season. Cooking for KD Gala

The Kawasaki Disease Foundation presented a star-studded lineup of chefs joining chef and KD parent Nate Appleman for the annual To Save A Child’s Heart — Cooking for KD Gala. Guests enjoyed a five-course dinner prepared tableside by highly acclaimed chefs including John Bautista, William Bradley, Jordan Davis, Amanda Freitag, Matt Gordon, Joe Magnanelli, Jason McLeod, Chad White, and many more. Country For The Kids

The Country for the Kids concert featuring Lonestar took place at the Santaluz Club to benefit The Foundation for the Children of the Californias, a tri-national collaboration of Canada, the United States, and Mexico endeavoring to improve the health and nutrition for the children of the California and Mexico border “mega-region” through the operation of the Hospital Infantil de las Californias.
