to the Penn Treaty Special Services District
for supporting our "Award Winning" 
After School Arts Program 


Portside's After School Arts Program was awarded $15,000 by the Penn Treaty Special Services District last night!! Over the past four years the Penn Treaty Special Services District has awarded the Portside Arts Center over $57,000 towards our Music Program, Starboard Side Gallery & Studios, Artistic Window Guards and now our After School Arts Program. We are so so grateful that the PTSSD has recognized the Portside as a very important and much needed center for the arts in the greater Port Richmond and Fishtown Communities.
We would like to thank the PTSSD for their continued  
support of our mission and programs.

Cost: $15 per day 


About the program 
The Portside’s ASAP introduces children to the fundamentals
of arts education through theater arts, hands-on visual arts
and arts integration programming, as well as character education.

Portside's After School Arts Program cost $15 per day.
This cost includes private bus pick up from our partnering schools.
Parents will pick up their children from the Portside Arts Center at 6:00pm.

*** We welcome children from other schools into our
program but they must provide their own transportation. 

 
                                                    Daily Schedule
                                      3:00 - 3:30 - Students Arrive 
                                      3:30 - 4:30 - Homework, Snack Time & Free Play 
                                      4:30 - 6:00 - Visual Arts or Theater Arts 
                                      6:00 - Parents pick up time
                               *** Once a week from 4:00 - 4:30 children will
                                participate in a Character Education Workshop

"When Schools Off Portside's In Session"


During our Day Camps we take the children on trips to 
local farms, museums and parks for half of the day! When we return to the Portside the children engage in fun visual arts or theater arts activities. Keep a look out for a list of our trip locations.

Cost: $45

        Monday, February 16th - 8:00AM-5:00PM - Presidents Day
        Wednesday, April 1st - 8:00AM-5:00PM - Spring Break

Half-Day Camps for Public Schools

Portside will be picking up students from Alexander Adiare, Hackett and Kearny Elementary Schools when they have a half day of school. The children will come back to the Portside and participate in fun arts projects, have free play time and watch movies! Parents will pick up their children from Portside Arts Center at 6:00pm.

Cost: $25
