In the heart of Greek Nature!

Despite its small area, Greece is a country endowed with a particularly rich and diverse natural environment, with singular geomorphology, intense contrasts and many regions with great ecological value. Thanks to its mild climate it is a privileged destination for autumn holidays or short trips giving us the opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced life and relax in the arms of nature. The country’s abundant natural gifts -thousands of lacey coasts, imposing mountains, caves and gorges, lakes, rivers, biotopes of rare beauty and unique ecosystems, have earned the country a place among the ideal destinations for ecotourism and alternative forms of tourism. The Greek countryside reveals its secrets to visitors and nature lovers alike. Olive harvesting activities set the tone, and you are welcome to join in this celebration of the land. This month, let’s:
  • escape to Mountainous Arcadia, in the heart of Mt. Mainalo with its impressive nature and traditional villages
  • explore Mt. Ainos paths on Kefalonia, the one and only National Park in insular Greece
  • visit the Olive Oil Museums across the country
  • meet the vineyards of Attica, its varieties and enjoy remarkable wines
  • learn about the Green Key, the "green" award in the tourism industry
  • tour the greenest parts of Greek nature through our video "A world of Nature"!
