 It's that time of year here on the island. ...the rainy season, that is.
With municipal water bills continuing to increase, and wells being challenged more and more during our dry summers, you should consider "Rain-Water Harvesting" to supplement your water usage in the dry months.
Black Creek Farm & Feed has a full line of products needed for rain-water harvesting, and we're happy to provide advice.
You will definitely want to calculate the size tank you need, since they range from 250 gallons to 3000. We carry tanks from Surrey-based Premier Plastics Inc. which has been manufacturing light weight, high strength, and corrosion free polyethylene plastic septic tanks, water storage tanks and accessories for more than 20 years.
Their plastic tanks are manufactured to the highest engineering standards, guaranteeing quality and reliability in every product. All water tanks are CSA and ANSI/NSF 61 certified for drinking water, are ultraviolet stable, environmentally safe and fully recyclable.
 Above-ground tanks are warranted for 8 years; below-ground tanks for 10 years, but a much longer life span can be expected.
