AIDS.gov is hosting the Toward an AIDS-free Generation: Healthcare Outreach and Enrollment for People Living with HIV webinar for federal staff, HIV service providers, community-based organizations, and other providers on Monday, November 24 from 2:00-2:45pm EST.

With the three-month open enrollment period to sign up for health coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace beginning this weekend, we have an important opportunity in front of us to help ensure that even more people at risk for or living with HIV or viral hepatitis are connected to high quality health coverage made available through the Affordable Care Act.
Presented as part of our World AIDS Day activities, the webinar Toward an AIDS-free Generation: Supporting Healthcare Outreach and Enrollment for People Living with HIV will feature colleagues from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and the Secretary’s Office. The speakers will highlight benefits of the healthcare law for people at risk for or living with HIV or viral hepatitis, and highlight resources available to assist stakeholders in Marketplace outreach and enrollment efforts, particularly among communities of color and other populations disproportionately impacted by HIV and viral hepatitis.
