Greetings!

These days music is at the tip of our fingers. We can readily tune in to any number of resources and music flows right into our living rooms, our cars, our ears.

But do the older people you serve have this easy access to the music they love, perhaps the music of their youth? The sad truth is that music has disappeared from the lives of many seniors, right at a time when it could be so beneficial. There’s compelling research that indicates music has numerous positive effects on the brain, memory, health and yes on happiness.

This is one of the reasons I made my CD “Songs You Know By Heart” featured below in this newsletter. I have also written a short “manifesto” called “10 Ways to Bring Back the Music for the seniors in your life.” Click the button below to view the document in a pdf format. Please feel free to print it and share it with the families you serve.

Yours in song,
Mary Sue
