Advent Is Coming!
The first Sunday of Advent is November 30th. Make plans to stay after worship that day and each Sunday until Christmas. We'll have family friendly activities each day. All ages are welcome!
We'll also be doing a gift drive for Chandler Christian Community Center each Sunday in Advent. Here's what to bring:
11/30: arts & crafts kits, sports
equipment
12/7: cars/trucks & dolls
(princess toys & Baby Alive
are especially requested)
12/14: socks & underwear
In the midst of lots of fun, we want to provide some tools for those of you who are grieving this holiday season. Plan to join Rev. Ruth Schulenberg, chaplain and CPE supervisor at Banner Good Samaritan, for a Coping with the Holidays Grief workshop on Monday, December 8th at 7 p.m. It's helpful (but not required) to let Rev. Abigail know you're coming. Anyone is welcome to attend, not just Chalice folks.

More Food!
We sent over 200 items of food totaling more than 200 pounds of food to Chandler Christian Community Center this past week. Thanks to everyone who contributed to our drive!

We're excited to welcome Baby Pearson, due December 11th. Because of the holidays, there are several folks planning a baby shower after P2's arrival, some time in January. You didn't miss it! (And no one forgot.)
